Under the guidance of the Provincial Health Authority, we have implemented the following changes to minimize transmission of communicable diseases. Please read through and contact us if you have any questions. Ideally most of these changes are temporary, so please bear with us as we all transition back to providing services under different conditions.
 

• Appointments must be booked in advance. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment. As our office is small, there is limited ability to social distance. Only one client at a time will be seen – no overlap. This also allows for additional cleaning time between guests.

• If you would like to wear a mask, feel free to bring it. We will have a supply of disposable masks available if you don’t have one and would like to wear one. Your Esthetician will be wearing a mask, and a face shield for close-contact services such as facial/scalp massage.
   

• Massage clients, please remember to bring water as we are not currently permitted to provide it for you.

• High-touch areas (payment area, door handles, etc.) will be sanitized frequently with a hospital-grade disinfectant. Being a spa and working in close contact with the public, we already have many sanitation procedures in place. These will continue to be upheld.

• If you are experiencing any symptoms of being unwell, please wait to book until you are symptom-free for at least 24 hours. Client information (names/phone #) will be shared with the PHO upon request. (This is only in the event of a community outbreak, for contact tracing). You will not be charged a cancellation fee.

• Zen Wellness Massage & Esthetics provides therapeutic spa services that are strictly non-sexual. Any conversation or behaviour of a suggestive or sexual nature will result in the end of the treatment session immediately with full payment required. 

​

• For services that require prolonged close contact (i.e. facial & scalp massage), your Esthetician will wear a triple-layer mask as well as a face shield.
